In the Computer Vision group, we focus on collecting, processing, and analyzing data from images and videos.
We investigate and leverage data-driven machine learning-based approaches to address practical and urgent societal problems.
We study and develop algorithms for image processing, machine learning, and intelligent video analytics to guide computer perform important visual perception tasks such as object detection, recognition and tracking, as well as activity recognition.
Potential applications include face recognition, vehicle classification, customer analysis, and smart image-to-text conversion.
